The Boorarka Difference
Here are some examples of our unique approach.
Reconciliation Action Plans
In business, industry and government, our Reconciliation Action Plans don’t just sit on paper—they drive real, structural change. Each one is unique and reflects the priorities of the organisation or company. If you already have a RAP, we can take it off the shelf, dust it off, and transform it into a truly Indigenous-led plan that your leaders and workforce will be pleased to implement.
‘We deliver innovative RAPs that are better aligned to the Indigenous communities relevant to your organisation and we present the plans in ways that are engaging and inspiring.” Tuguy
We understand the need for reports to government, service providers or business on the funding of Indigenous projects. We can work with you as the funding body and with community leaders of funded projects, to design and pilot alternative ways of reporting that are robust but easier to complete, and more meaningful and understandable for communities.
We know how to incorporate cultural values, strengthen leadership capabilities, and create strategic plans for long-term sustainability within Indigenous settings. We also offer mentorship and coaching for business, government, university or community organisation leaders, developing their capacity to work with Indigenous communities in the most respectful, practical and effective way.
We can also implement mentoring for Indigenous leaders in navigating modern challenges while staying connected to cultural roots.
