Truth Telling - An emotional journey

Recently I had the profound honour of participating in the Pinjarra On-Country Immersive Experience (ICCF-KOODJAL) at Curtin University on Thursday, 10th October. This emotional journey revisited the history of the Pinjarra Massacre, a subject I first encountered 24 years ago as an undergraduate student at the University of Sydney. Standing on-country and witnessing the site with my own eyes added a deeply personal and moving dimension to this history. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of understanding, acknowledging, and honouring these stories in our shared journey of healing and reconciliation.
